Studio Effect
Removing the background gives a convincing studio look without the studio price or effort on your part. You can have great fun creating the poses and being the director – colourful toys and props can help. Images can be put on any coloured background to match any colour scheme, just let us know which colour you prefer. Curly hair can be made much easier for us to cut out if it is against a plain background that is lighter than the hair itself e.g. light blue sky or a white wall. We often blur the edges very slightly too and add a light shadow to soften and blend the edges with the background. This adds to the realism.
Choose your own crop and any of our print or frame options including canvas prints, framed prints and Perspex art – simply upload your image above to begin your order and find your price. You can see all the product finishes in our live previewer but we can not show your finished artwork online as they are created by skilled digital artists and not computer generated. Once you have ordered and the design is complete we will send you an e-mail proof to approve before printing goes ahead. There is space on the ordering process to add instructions such as preferred colours but we can also adjust the image after proofing as you prefer.
Tips
- Go for fun or meaningful studio poses and crops – express your own personality!
- Get a clear shot on a hard floor (no grass covering feet or other obstructions)
- High image quality will be more like the real thing (good cameras on tripods or resting on a table help)
- Works well for people, pets and cars
- Plain contrasting backgrounds will make it easier for us but are not essential
- Any modern finish works but Perspex gives a special contemporary, high value look
