Acrylic or Perspex photo art printing is a growing phenomenon and as usual ours are of fine quality yet a very competitive price. Evolving from old and tested ideas in the sign industry the best photographic Perspex uses higher resolution printing techniques, better substrates and more crystal clear adhesives for better enjoyment of the photograph. The finished look is extremely modern and impressive with double stand-out!
Those are the high quality processes that we use. Other kinds are available but the risk of disappointment is higher. Industrial printers can sometimes print direct to acrylic or plastic but it's not a good receptor of ink and the colours and resolution are usually much poorer than on photo paper. Stories of the ink cracking and chipping are also frequent. It tends to be more expensive too.
We have recently improved our Perspex product to use one solid piece of 10mm Perspex rather than two 5mm in a sandwich. We have now perfected the face mounting process and reduced the prices at the same time, to perhaps the best value around.
